GreyMatter Instilation
1. Download the files. click here
2. In Your cgi-bin upload all files in ASCII mode.
3. CHMOD gm-comments.cgi, gm-karma.cgi, gm-upload.cgi, gm.cgi to 755.
4. CHMOD all other files to 666.
5. Make an Archives folder and CHMOD it to 755.
6. Upload gm-icon.gif, and gm-main.htm in you public_html folder.
7. Make an Archives folder in your public_html folder and CHMOD it to 755.
8. Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin.gm.cgi
9. Username is Alice and password is wonderland.
10. Go to create new Authors and creat your own username and password.
11. Delete Alice and relogin.
12. Now go to Configuration.
13. Make it Look like this
Local Log Path: /home/username/public_html
Local Entries/Archives Path: /home/username/public_html/archives
Local CGI Path: /home/username/public_html/cgi-bin
Website Log Path: http://yourdomain.com
Website Entries Path: http://yourdomain.com/archives
Website CGI Path: http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin
If Your a Hostee [subdomain] use this:
Local Log Path: /home/hostusername/public_html/hosteeusername
Local Entries/Archives Path: /home/hostusername/public_html/hosteeusername/archives
Local CGI Path: /home/hostusername/public_html/hosteeusername/cgi-bin
Website Log Path: http://yourdomain.com/hosteeusername
Website Entries Path: http://yourdomain.com/hosteeusername/archives

14. Then in IDEX & ARCHIVE OPTIONS, go to Index filename: and make it gm-main.htm
15. Then click Save Configuration.
16. Go Back to Configuration, and click Diagnostic and Repair, Diagnostic and Repair.
17. If you did it right, click return to configuration, if you did it wrong follow what it said to do.
18. Go down to SAVE CONFIGURATION.
19. Then click ADD NEW ENTRY.
20. Your greymatter will be found http://www.yourdomain.com/gm-main.htm
Pop Window for your GreyMatter comments
1. Log into your greymatter.
2. Go to EDIT TEMPLATES.
3. Go to Edit KARAM and COMMENTS-Related Templates.
4. Then go to [[commentslink]] Template [its the 2nd box on top].
5. Delete all thats in it now and just add this code:

6. Scroll down and click SAVE TEMPLATE CHANGES.
Get rid of the MARGINS in my GREYMATTER
1. Log into your greymatter admin. Then go to EDIT TEMPLATES, now go to EDIT MAIN, and look for
[blockquote]{{logbody}}[/blockquote] and take out the [blockquote] parts BUT LEAVE the {{LOGBODY}} there.
Tables for your Greymmater Comments
1. Sign on to your Greymatter.
2. Go to EDIT TEMPLATES.
3. Go to EDIT KARMA and COMMENTS-RELATED TEMPLATES.
4. Go to Comment Appearance Template, [its da 2nd box on the left side goin down]
5. Delete all text that is currently in there.
5. And Replace with this code:
